Writers, teachers, parents and anyone else interested in “adult conversations about children’s literature” are invited to our next Kid Lit Cafe (Coburg Coffee House – 6085 Coburg Road, Halifax).

Wednesday, March 3, 7 to 9 p.m – Authors, a literacy expert and a junior high librarian will discuss “Reluctant readers – who they are, what they like to read and how to write for them.”

Local children’s authors and illustrators will present the works they’ve published in the past year, and the reception thereafter will provide an opportunity to chat with favourite authors and get books signed.
