Book Fairs
Want to offer great books in your community or for students in your school? Want to raise some money at the same time? If so, a Woozles Book Fair might be the perfect initiative for you.
The benefits of a Woozles Book Fair are many:
  • You can tell us what your specific needs and objectives are and how best we can accommodate them. For example, if your school is doing a focus on sea-life, we can be sure to include lots of books about the ocean.
  • We can and will supply books from a range of publishers (not just Scholastic). This offers a greater range of titles, prices, authors, and cultural focus.
  • A Woozles Book Fair acts not only as a means to bring great titles into your community or school, but also as a fundraiser. Woozles offers you a 20% commission on the total sales (before taxes) of the books.
  • You can feel good about supporting a locally-owned, independent business. Woozles is the oldest children's bookstore in Canada. In 2000 and 2010 we were voted the Specialty Bookseller of the Year by the Canadian Booksellers' Association!
If you are interested in a Woozles Book Fair:
  • Pick out your preferred date(s). Some Book Fairs run for more than one day.
  • Think about how many people you might expect would attend.
  • Determine the range of ages you would like the books to focus on as well as any special interests or topics you would like to see covered. This will enable Woozles to select titles that are suitable for your needs.
  • Call Suzy MacLean or Lisa Doucet at Woozles (902-423-7626) to work out and confirm the details of dates and delivery methods and times.
